It seems that what I listed is good and has had great performance. For starters, it’ll search through your entire computer alphabetically (don’t ask us why) and then, when it does find them, more often than not they’ll be rearranged in some strange way. To do this effectively it needs to use a good chunk of your computer’s internal processing. If I do upgrade will this get ride of the "bounce to disk problem"? FWIW, I haven't optimized my computer for audio beyond setting the paging file size and setting it for background service optimizing. To do this, close your session, then hold the "Shift" key on the keyboard and double-click on the session file to open the session with all plug-ins inactive.

I know the obvious call would be to combine tracks, and/or audio suite the plugs, but since that is really time-consuming I was wondering if there are any settings I could To solve the problem I either convert files after bouce or take out some plugs. just that. The only small difference was the motherboard. I stopped bouncing since PT10 because of the other issue I had, where a "blip" noise would be at the very end of the bounced file. They’re located at C:\Documents and Settings\’User Folder’\Application Data\Digidesign and C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\DAE Prefs.
