It does not start on boot up or a restart. Try and restart the spooler and monitor the event log to see if it is still failing. there was also another file called spooler.exe.org with an earlierdate similar to all other files in that folder. They state that I don't have any installed but if I look in control panel then the HP is there but under unspecified and the canon has a yellow triangle.
