Getting down to the end, I get the error "Cannot open..." The include files that it cannot open are .moc files generated by the qt compiler. What is a satisfactory result of penetration testing assessment? We need not to copy msvcp71d.dll and msvcr71d.dll into Qt's bin directory. I also cannot build qt's own examples.

Note that this is an implementation dependent behavior - it might not apply to other compilers. Seems like "moc.exe" never generated "moc_addressbook.cpp'" for reasons I assume to be related to environment variables or directory settings. Try both options and make sure excluded file is not included in project for both of them. Rebuild your qt-lib with msvc2005 and it should work fine. Why do languages require parenthesis around expressions when used with "if" and "while"? I tried to put all generated files (like moc_.cpp, ui_.cpp) in one folder (GeneratedFiles/Release), which worked just fine by changing the qt-project-settings via the Add-In in VS.
