I had same problem. after that i just copied libmysql.dll in c:\windows where i put my php.ini and the problem is solved. But whenever I visit the phpmyadmin url it says:

Cannot load mysql extension. Install PHP exension in your server2. http://amigasuperbit.com/cannot-load/phpmyadmin-cannot-load-mysql-extension-windows-7.html
