You may have 'Build Automatically' turned off. R.java Missing In Eclipse Since my problem seems platform specific, this may only work if you are on Ubuntu 64 Bit (I am currently using Ubuntu 12). Eclipse updated the SDK and the ADT but I could still not build the project.
