You could only transfer that to the "Playstation Plus Folder" or online Cloud drive (Whichever one you want to call it) if you are a Playstation Plus member. I can still access the reovery safe mode menu, but if I select "restore PS3 System" it asks me if I'm sure, and I select "yes" and it says "restoring to have a peek at these guys So I have now removed the drive 20-30 times and tried as many combinations of formats and file systems that I can, and always get the same result... If you wish to be unblocked, you must agree that you will take immediate steps to rectify this issue. I have tried formatting to ntfs, fat32 and just leaving it unallocated.

During my wait for the new lens, I was using the PS3 to stream movies and stuff as I couldn't access any games with a bad disc drive. Upon not recognizing the drive as the one that was used, the system should format it in FAT32, whatever the partitions and file systems used. Please help, any thought would be appreciated! In safe mode, I tried the first options (rebuild files, database, etc), it just booted back to the same problem.
