At any rate, I figured out how to install the Print Management feature on the server, it is not installed by default, and how to remove installed print drives using it. I sucessfully cancelled all documents and was able to remove the printer from the server. navigate here
so is that the issue at hand here? Once labs were migrated to Windows 7, we could no longer remove the printers (until disabling the policy). I just want to be able to remove and reconnect printers as normal in Devices and Printers.
